KEMA's newest American lab addresses critical risks in deploying new technologies and integrating them with existing technologies. They designed the Smart Grid Interop Lab to help the utility industry and technology suppliers manage risk exposure, verify business case projections and secure a more effective and efficient smart grid deployment. Built on a live smart grid environment, the lab provides an independent setting to perform robust pilot and performance tests—with a core focus on reliability, optimization, conformance and cyber security.
